The purpose of this course is to give exposure and awareness to all food handlers about the aspects of hygiene and food safety, controlling and handling food and further reducing the incidence of food poisoning throughout the country. In addition to that, with this Certificate, participants will benefit by giving space and opportunities to new traders, especially for youth who want to start a food business. The Food Hygiene Regulations (PPKM) 2009 were issued on 28 February 2009 requiring all food handlers to undergo the LPM Course at the Food Handler Training School (SLPM) recognized by the Ministry of Health. KKM is fully responsible for accreditation and monitoring activities for SLPM and teaching staff.
