This program is focused on training in a growing academic area - professional politics. Students will be provided with exposure to theory and hands-on learning experience that focus on applied skills and settings, including campaign management, media and politics, polling, public policy, and lobbying.
Our goal is that this specialized education, and the credential it affords, will assist students in developing expertise, which may be applied in academic and professional opportunities after graduation. The internship serves as a capstone experience and must be fulfilled in a setting relevant to professional politics.
